Rome wasn’t built in a day, but we weren’t on that job.

It’s totally coming together. With our hard launch set for August I feel like we are in decent shape to roll out something awesome. The past few months have been really exciting for If We Ran It. We’ve managed to draw up the blueprints, fine tune our business model, build this website (it’s nearly there), hit up our friends for some spec, and polish our pistols cause the takeover is coming faster than you think.
In the last week we’ve come so far and the sense that this just might work is beginning to kick in. Big shout out to my girl Maris who has been amazing throughout. What y’all don’t see is how many nights and weekends we dedicate to this. We’ll post a time line sooner or later of how this came to be, but what you see here is the culmination of a years worth of planning and who knows how many conversations. Nevertheless, it’s all going exactly as we expected (we are even ahead of schedule) and our initial response in this test phase has been overwhelmingly positive.
Quick Tip, Loic Le Meur’s Ten Rules For Startup Success really helped us get traction. I suggest you check this dude out.
So, just as when we started, we’ll continue to live this out in constant beta. You’ll see us, literally, building this organization so that we may serve as a case study for people trying to do the same. Hopefully we’ll run into some like minded kids along the way.
We’ll be checking in often, I look forward to meeting you all.
We Run This!

- The Game Speaks About The Kids and Justice…
The New York City Police accused of murdering Sean Bell were acquitted last week and rapper The Game (29) responded with a powerful video.
