20 Essential Young Architects - Icon Magazine

A list of the 20 most essential young architects was published in the April Issue of Icon, a magazine that focuses on design and architecture. It’s good to see the young’ens getting some love on their way to compete with the likes of Hadid, Foster and Gehry (take this guy out first please). It seems that young architects these days have a bit more to overcome than just ageism and cracking the door to success, like what is the role of the architect in this rapidly changing world. According to icon, “young actually means young, but architect may no longer mean architect.” This may be the first breed of a new era. Here is the full list:
