“Being Humble is so 2007…Trust Me”

By Marissa Shrum

New Amerykah Part One (4th World War) is what I’m jamming right now & I love how Erykah is always bringing the insight & incite. Her album’s self reflective, political, & “it’s got a funky beat and I can bug out to it“; She’s also the new face of Tom Ford’s latest fragrance, which is very ’stunner’…in this YouTube video, Ms. Badu tells all the aspiring young artists how to get their publicity on in the music game…well, sort of.

Good advice: No. Biting criticism: Yes.

Did she really say the title of this post: Absolutely.
