Moving back to a PC after two years of a Mac’s sweet serenade is like listening to My Chemical Romance after being brought up on the Stones…it just makes you nutty. My new gig requires I once again liaise with these icky relics. Nothing says “tech-savvy” on a sales call like an IBM ThinkPad right? I feel like the crazy out-of-state uncle who still uses AOL as his default web browser. Seriously though, after nearly three years of virus-free, user-friendly applications, I want to go back to Windows like I want to date a chick that’s into the UFC.

What is it with older people and Macs? Is a little change so frightening? People that freak on technology are ones that complain about daylight saving time and say things like, “Man, that sun is hot” in the dead-heat of August.

“Well if one person switches to a Mac, everybody else has to.” Right. It would totally suck to not have the system crash every two days and be able to watch a Flash video without downloading 20 other plugins. Le sigh…
