We’re the Smelly Kids… — By Michael French
BROWSE —
…and much like the smelly kids in class, everybody’s talking about us…the Millennials in the Mist:
-Apparently Ireland has computers now. Who knew? Cool article on SiliconRepublic about our techy-ness. Not really news to anybody that has a finger on the pulse of reality, but good to know nonetheless. A new study saying millennials like technology is as “eureka!” as a new study saying rain is wet, or Trent Reznor’s a badass…
-Lawn & Landscape holds it down with some advice for employers/supervisors trying to keep their millennial minions happy and working. My advice: Microbrews, iTunes gift cards and burgers.
-We want to bank over IM too? No shit…Ars Technica on top of this. Something about eventually doing everything via IM or my mobile inherently creeps the shit out of me. Can we all agree that we won’t start copulating virtually? I think that’s a good one to throw on the table before things get too out of control.
True story: Dude I work with didn’t wash his hands after an intense stall session, just walked right past me at the sink, and just asked me not to tell anybody. Hmmm…how to handle…
