Yeah, so apparently Joe Satriani is suing Coldplay for plagiarism. I found it here on the Huff. Check it out, the songs are pretty much identical. Hmm…where to start…

Blow me Satriani. Coldplay took your lame guitar geek bag of turds song and turned it into something people actually want to listen to. I know your fan base, which basically consists of pimple-faced dipshits that work at Guitar Center, are really upset about this, but you’re Joe Satriani and they’re Coldplay. Case. Fucking. Closed.

If you’re taking Satch’s side, go slap your girlfriend to the new Guns record, or put on your Dream Theater t-shirt and drive your Chevy Celebrity into the river.

I’m not a Coldplay fan by any means (although that tune “Square One” is pretty nasty), but the fact that some loser shredder like Satch is suing one of the biggest bands in the world is laughable. Remember when Satriani had that really sick song everybody was into? No?

You’re probably thinking “Joe who?” Yeah…that’s about right. I’m in Coldplay’s corner on this one, in the name of good taste.
